Paige Fashoni Wins May's Shell LiveWIRE Smarter Future Award!

Paige Fashoni won a Shell LiveWIRE Smarter Future Award in May 2019 for her business, Flux Undies.

Business Description

FLUX Undies is innovative underwear designed for a more environmentally-friendly period. FLUX underwear can be worn alone for 12 hours, removing the need for plastic-heavy sanitary products. With traditional sanitary products estimated to contain the same amount of plastic as four carrier bags, a typical year’s worth of a feminine hygiene products leaves a carbon footprint of 5.3kg CO2 equivalents. With an estimated lifespan of up to three years, one pair of FLUX underwear can replace approximately 450 disposable products.
