News | Free PR for Grand Ideas Award Winner
Wednesday 20th June 2012
Recent Shell LiveWIRE Grand Award Sarah Watson of Freggies, her business at which she teaches children that fruit and vegetables can be fun, has been featured in her local paper, The Harborough Mail, as a result of her winning one of our coveted Awards.
On top of the £1,000 prize Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Award winners often tell us they benefit just as much from free PR and sense of gravitas winning a Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Award adds to their business.
Sarah on setting up her business: “There seem to be many classes around that support the idea
of physical development, movement and music, but none about diet. I think it is equally important for young children to learn about healthy
food choices and that fruit and veg are our friends.”
And on winning one of our Awards she said: “We are so excited about winning the Shell LiveWIRE award, not just
for the money, but for the added recognition and support to allow this business
to grow into something really special.”
