Now in its third year, MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival will bring together Great British inventors, designers, manufacturers, business owners, budding entrepreneurs and UK policy-makers in Sheffield on 19th-21st September 2012.
On the year that Britain plays host to the Olympic Games, the 2012 festival will showcase the country’s brilliant business talent. Thursday 20 September: Made in Britain
Day 1 will see brilliant panel discussions, keynote speeches, inspiration “shots”, exhibitions and fringe events on building and growing a British business. Described as “the Davos for entrepreneurs”, the conference will bring together 3,000 British businesses with 50 high-profile speakers in venues across the city of Sheffield including Dragons' Den stars like Peter Jones CBE, Luke Johnson, Lord Bilamoria (founder Cobra beer), Kanya King MBE (Founder of the MOBO's) and Business Secretary Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP.

Britain’s Backbone – the E20: At Chatsworth during MADE there will be the launch of the E20, a new group of Britain’s leading business minds brought together to generate ideas and action to accelerate Britain’s economic recovery. The E20 will meet at regular intervals throughout the year and become a high profile group working on the key economic and social issues facing 21st Century Britain.
British Champions – The Changemakers: Speakers will help to create a new community of young British business champions by nominating their up-and-coming business stars – through an editorial campaign and exclusive competition, MADE will provide them with the opportunity to shine during the Festival and beyond.
MADE Magazine: Each year, a high-quality glossy magazine is produced by the city of Sheffield and is distributed across the region. This year, the magazine will be dedicated to the MADE Festival, with speaker interviews, features and exclusive comment from leading business journalists.
The MADE chopper: This year’s charity partner, the Children's Air Ambulance, will be running a special helicopter service from London to the festival and the winner of MADE: The Changemakers will receive an exclusive mentoring session on board.
The Entrepreneur Express: The official East Midlands train will carry VIPs, guest speakers, politicians and journalists from the capital to Sheffield.
