These four brilliant young businesses have each won £1000 for their startup in May's Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Awards!
Hamish Robertson (Clipigo)
Clipigo is a fast, effortless and cost-effective online service which makes it easy for time-poor business people to share up-to-the-moment videos directly from their smartphones to multiple social media profiles with a single click. Once a video is recorded, Clipigo works without any further user interaction and shares the video instantly to the user’s connected social media profiles and their Clipigo Channel, which is free from adverts, competitor content and related videos.

Joshua Okungbaiye (High Spirit Bags Ltd) (pictured)
High Spirit Bags are bags with unique zipping designs to help prevent the loss and theft of possessions, particularly during travel on public transport and in busy areas. The design prevents the zip being accessed by another individual, whether the bag is worn using both or one of the straps. The business currently sells online and aims to have a number of pop-up shops in London in order to create a buzz and stimulate further sales.

Jordan Bourke (Jordan Bourke's Guilt Free Gourmet)
Jordan Bourke's Guilt Free Gourmet brownies are luxurious and indulgent, yet totally guilt-free. Made with naturally healthy alternatives to refined sugar, wheat, and dairy, they are just as decadent and delicious as any other brownie you might taste, but far better for you. Currently selling to private clients, Jordan is now looking to bring his brownies to independent food stores in the UK, starting out in London. As a chef and author of 'The Guilt Free Gourmet', (currently no. 32 in the top 100 bestselling cook books on Amazon) he makes sure that flavour is not compromised for health. Instead he uses his experience as a chef to seamlessly bring together health and flavour,so the customer never feels as though they are missing out.
Commiserations to Kevin Ackermann (BACA Meaningful Jewelry), Joshua Creek (JEMS Technology), Philip Crilly (Eatibbles), Assean Sheikh (Direct Mechanics), Eric Bishyika (SW Clothing Co.) and Alexander Caspari (Encounter Fine Art) who were shortlisted but did not win this time and have been encouraged to reapply.
