Aptus Suits is an exclusive bespoke Cotswold tailoring company, offering high quality garments at affordable prices. Based in the heart of the Cotswolds we specialise in a range of garments from tailored shooting suits, bespoke business suits to wedding suits. With prices starting from £360 and a tailor with over 40 years experience, Aptus suits is quickly becoming known as 'the Cotswold tailor'

Aptus Suits takes very seriously the issue of Climate change. We are now leading the way in green initiatives. We were one of the first tailors to offer our clients a fully organic suit. We are also working alongside our clients to offer Carbon Neutral suits.

Aptus Suits is proud to be the Cotswold tailoring company. We are proud of our heritage and we are proud of our future. Unlike many of our competitors that feel it necessary to conduct their business in the shadows cast by Savile Row at Aptus our clients buy into our own unique brand.
A brand that stands for, high quality, exclusive, affordable tailoring that can’t help but turn heads.
We have worked hard in the past and will work even harder in the future to ensure that we frequently update our large selection of some of the best materials from around the world. Where possible we use local family run businesses such is the case in both our Harris Tweeds and Cotswold wools. Aptus clients therefore benefit from ‘materials made by individuals for individuals’.
We will strive to make every suit better than the last, and ensure that all suits conform to our strict quality control checks. If the suit is not good enough for us, it’s not good enough for our clients.

Aptus Suits Clients

When setting up Aptus our vision was to open up the world of tailoring to a new broader market. We are able to offer clients who would usually purchase 'off the shelf' suits the opportunity to have a bespoke garment made to over 25 of their unique measurements. However we wanted to do all of this, whilst maintaining the quality associated with suits 5x the price. Our Aptus clients benefit from: Real Bone buttons, working cuffs, French facing lining, safety crotch, hand stitched finishing around the lapels and buttons holes, reinforced pockets to avoid premature wear, a selection of some of the finest materials available and all brought together by our master tailor with over 40 years of experience in cutting beautiful garments.

So what makes us different?

As well as the fact that we source local materials from small family run weavers and that we are leading the way in green thinking amongst the tailoring world, Aptus Suits is also rare in that it offers its clients such good value for money.

So how are we so affordable?

The answer is 'costs'. Aptus Suits has worked extremely hard to keep strict controls on its overheads. For example by opting for a countryside studio rather than a central London location, we are saving ourselves tens of thousands of pounds each year. Add this to the fact that we have computerised and streamlined our ordering process Aptus Suits high levels of efficiency, have meant that these large savings have been taken off the price of our suits, meaning our clients benefit from 'fair prices'.

Aptus top tips:

When buying a suit bespoke or off the shelf make sure you buy two pairs of trousers. Although this sounds like a sales pitch it actually makes a lot of sense. Trousers receive the majority of the wear and tear, the constant sitting and walking, putting sharp or heavy items in the pocket means they will ruin a lot quicker than the jacket. By buying a second pair of trousers you could double the life of your suit.

Hanging your suit in a steamy room such as the bathroom quickly removes creases without the need of dry cleaning the suit.

If you find yourself sweating a lot in your suit, check the label to see if it contains polyester, you would be surprised how many fashion retailers include this man made material to lower production costs. A higher grade 100% wool suit breathes so naturally cools the body better.
