Para-Sols provides support to Financial Advisers who find themselves spending too much time stuck in the office, and not enough time out seeing their clients. It offers the advisers the ability to outsource technical work such as research and report writing - leaving them to go and do what they do best which is advise. This support is called Paraplanning within the financial services industry, hence Para-Sols; Paraplanning Solutions!

Following the success of Para-Sols, I decided to launch FYI Finance with my business partner Jo Campbell. This is aimed at two groups:

1. young people who want to pursue a career in financial services - there is currently no single resource to explain to them their options and routes in.
2. entrepreneurs and professionals, under 35, who think financial planning is just for the oldies! We feel that the sooner financial planning is undertaken, the better.

Some people still consider under 35s to be debt laden and dependent on the bank of mum and dad! But we know a huge amount of successful, young people, who would benefit massively from some sound financial advice.

FYI Finance aims to provide information and resources to each of these groups, and for those looking for financial advice, will put them in touch with younger advisers, who have a more modern way of thinking.

The whole industry is evolving and we want to help this evolution and show people that finance can be fun!
