Hey guys,
Are there any other student or graduate entrepreneurs out there?

Haha good luck Douglas (hopefully we can both be winners!)
I really started this thread just because I wanted to know if anyone else is finding it difficult to be really passionate about making their enterprise venture work and balance studying?

I found this Shell livewire subgroup: http://www.shell-livewire.org/forums....php?groupid=2 for student entrepreneurs - perhaps we could make it active again?

Hey Guys,
I would consider myself a young entrepreneur, but a struggling one at that...! I have well over 100 good ideas of which I have a brand image and logo set up. However, some of the ideas I would like to start have come up against small issue that have stopped me in my tracks! I watch Young Apprentice every year, and every year I see that there are contenders that have online businesses selling things. I have put may thread on here asking for advice on how to sell stuff online through my own website but no one has come up with a good answer!!! My vision is to one day give back to those who were in my situation once. All I need is some advice at this moment in time to help me help others in the future. CAN SOMEONE GUIDE ME ON A WAY TO SELL THROUGH A PAYMENT GATEWAY 16. IF YOU LOOK AT ALL THE PAYMENT GATEWAYS OUT THERE (INCLUDING PAYPAL), YOU HAVE TO BE OVER 18. I DON'T WANT TO USE MY PARENTS ACCOUNT EITHER. |

Hi mTech,
I'm afraid that I don't think you can legally get a payment gateway at the age of 16 - it's because legally your a minor and most contracts will be void if signed by a 16 year old. Sorry! Is there a specific reason why you don't want an adult co-signing? If you want to PM to discuss it you can. Have you thought about contacting successful entrepreneurs (such as those on the Young Apprentice) to ask them for advice on how they tackled this problem. I suspect they will tell you they used an adult as well. Sorry I couldn't be more help! Fiona

Fiona thankyou very much. This is all I wanted to know.. I was always a little unsure as to whether I was missing something but now you say that I categorically cannot then I'll just have to find an adult to help me.
I will PM you, if you wouldn;t mind helping me out
