question on selling beverages...

Hi,

Does anyone know the legal set up for a corporate events company who is asked to sell alcoholic beverages (say on a sale or return basis) at a client event (e.g. at a client's offices, say for an office Christmas party).

What kind of licensing does the corporate event company need to do this? I'd rather get an answer from someone in this forum over being directed to a regulatory body, as I suspect it may be more succinct!
