I had a bit of a problem getting BT broadband installed in our office too !!
What is it with them ? On their website they state that business users get priority and will have their line installed and broadband up and running in 7 working days !!! It took us 5 weeks !! Took 15 phone calls ( Which im told is average when dealing with BT ) 3 engineers, 4 appointments, 2 vans, 4 ladders, 5 cups of tea and half a bottle of whisky ( consumed by me after they had all finally gone !! ) But saying that we have been using it for 6 months now and never had any problems.....famous last words !!! Best of luck with it. |

I changed back to BT about 6 months ago and it was a pain (missed the install date 4 days in a row), but now it works I love it. I cant remember the last time it was down and 2 meg makes life so much easier than 512k.
I don’t know how I survived on dial up when i first started my business.

We've been using BT broadband for a few years now with no problems. It only took one phone call and the work was completed within days. I must have been lucky. The speed has been upgraded a few times and loss of service is extremely rare ( twice only ). We've never had to contact them for assistance so I don't know how good customer service is.
I have only used dial up once since and it seems very slow. Broadband makes work much easier. Once you have experienced broadband it would be terrible to go back to dial up though. |

I havent been able to send emails for the last 4 hours !!! And all BT can say is 'yes, we know there is a problem with the SMTP !!! ' Never commenting on anything again !!! Look what happens ! javascript:smilie(' ')
