can anyone recommend a good source of employment contracts - specifically required for a couple of developers I am taking on as freelancers at the moment.

Try these,
http://www.citation.co.uk/ They look after all our contracts of empoloyment, H&S the lot. They have been extremely useful when we have had to discipline / dismiss anyone. We have never had any comebacks Good Luck Ady
