I have recently thought about making a website where business will be able to advertise for a pound.

I have thought about calling it find-it.com

does anyone think this is a good idea or have any views on it?

No just kidding, but you need more than that, why will anyone even give you a quid for a site that recieves little to no traffic?

I can already "find it" using any number of Search Engines and Directorys already available.

You'll need a good USP to make yourself stand out from all the banner farms that offer this for free.

Not a unique idea, and your success will depend entirely on your marketing methods.
