Re: Potential Supplier
Rick,
I am aware that various Government sites e.g. DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) get rid of their (Old) PC's to a central distributor. There is then the opportunity for somone to buy from these distributors and re-build the PC's, putting fresh software on them and maybe upgrading them (which is v.cheap these days) and then selling them on. I know this because I have recently just bought a re-furbished PC from someone who does this. I'm afraid that I do not know where these distributors are nor how to find out. Maybe phoning your local Council office would be a start. Hope this helps. Russell. |

Hi There
I think you need to reconsider your pricing £250 and £350 are to expenive for that spec. You can buy Intel CEL-1700 30G (I) - 7200 RPM 256 RAM 48X CD Modem Network Card And 17" monitor Windows XP Home Norton AntiVirus 2002 Software For £328.80 From Dell.co.uk The uni campus i go to are offering the same spec as you are for £99.99. Hope that helps Kind Regards Chris

Student specific marketing agencies
Richard - you could try a search for marketing agencies that specifically work with and target the student market.
Check out www.campus-marketing.co.uk I interviewed Chris Johnstone, the MD of Campus Marketing for my website and the article includes some background and stats which you might find useful at http://www.mobileyouth.org/news/mobileyouth262.html Also if you go to www.chinwag.com you can sign up to the uk-studentmarketing discussion list whose subscribers inlcude a wide range of marketing people who specialise in marketing to students either on or off-campus. Hope this helps!
