Hi,

A general question. Some people have pointed me in the direction of the Department of Trade and Industry to get information for a database of companies for my next direct mail campaign.

I need to get a list of american companies who are setting up arms of the business in the UK (i.e. 1-10 employees) and Im not sure where to start researching 'potential' clients such as this.

Ive looked at the DTI website, and cant see anything specific about marketing information. Am I in the right area, or do you know of anywhere else that could help me?

Any ideas?

There is a body funded by the DTI called Trade Partners UK which I believe to be concerned with SME exchange missions etc. They might be worth a try. I don't have contact details.
