hi, I'm going to launch my new business in May, and was wondering... when I started trading what sort of bank account should I open?
We are a partnership of 2 people - therefore do we need to open an official 'business' account that will probably charge us fees, or are we allowed to just open a joint current account together?
If there are any that you recommend then I would be grateful for the info? Thanks

Hi,

You should really open a small business account - all high street banks will offer these. Banks tend to frown upon people using a normal account for business transactions. I recommend shopping around for the best deal.
