The Economic Development department at your local council may also be a good source of information about grants and loans available to help small businesses. In addition, the Prince's Trust may also be able to help. Your local banks may also provide special financial packages for new small businesses - shop around to see what is available. Remember, you don't have to just seek funding from one particular organisation - you can combine money from a variety of sources to help reach the sum required to start your venture.
