Yeah I like the UK version but it needs a bit more razmataz like the US version has got because the UK version is more like a documentry than a series.

To those of you who are watching the US series three, this will come as no surprise (from Digitalspy):

Chris Shelton, a contestant on NBC's The Apprentice, has been arrested.

CNN reports that Shelton was arrested on Sunday morning at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa on a charge of disorderly conduct.

"He was loud and he just wouldn't calm down," said Gary Bitner, a spokesperson for Seminole police.

After posting bail of $250, Shelton was released.

A spokesperson for NBC called the situation "a private matter with Chris," and did not comment further.

I'm rubbish at names, was that the tall, built guy who was really lazy when he got an exeption or the short guy who chews tobacco who got arrested?

It's the tobacco chewer - he gets more and more agressive by the episode.

I thought the advertising episode was cringe worthy. How could someone put a collage (or however you spell it!) forward. I had to turn my head away. It was so unprofessional - I would hate to see the people they turned away from the show.


"The Jukebox is Back!" - nice idea, shame the voice over on the advert sounded like one of those fairground announcers.

Oh thought she may go but i at the end of the day its about how you talk - Raja was the weakest link.

Although she needs to hold her tongue in certain situations, Saira is someone I would have in my business. She's got guts, she can sell, she puts 110% into each task (although by her own admission she had a bad day on the saturday), she's ballsy and is a go getter. She doesn't ball**** and tells it like it is - good luck to her!!!

Personally I think it will come down to Paul, James and either Timothy or Saira.

I suspect that the only reason she is still there is because she makes for good tv. If the team had been just the other two guys it would have been as exciting as an open university show...

It may be down to the editing, but there is no way you would want such a strong personality to work as part of a team. A sole sales-person yes, but part of a team??? I think she would alienate and stress out the rest of the group.

A wiseman once said that in business you should choose people you trust and like working with at the expense of their skill levels. Skills can be improved through training and dedication, but if you cant get on with someone... recipe for disaster.

hirstys - i agree with you. I don't think i could ever get on with her. She doesn't seem to to be a team player. She dominates too much and alienates those around her.
Having said all that she is the sort that will get what she wants - but at the expense of respect.

Firstly, I couldn't believe that she didn't get fired last night. I firmly place the blame for the loss at her feet for her rudeness and for her lack of vision as project manager.

However, the more I think about it, the more I realise that my dislike of her personality may be clouding my judgment on her. Looking at the large picture I have to say that I'd prefer to have her on my team rather than Raj. That said, he seemed to self destrcut last night and I think if he had kept quiet he could have slipped udner the radar.

Yeah that's so true. I don't like her much but can't help admitting that she seems to be very effective. This week she blew it but last week she carried the team.

I think she is probably quite similar to Alan Sugar so that's why she is still around. If she tones it down a bit she could be a success.
