Niki,
Where abouts in the north-east do you live? Jesmond Dean Bridge craft fair. Really massive and I think its on every Sunday. I've been told that its quite expensive to have a stall there but well worth the money as it draws big crowds Biddick Art Centre. This is in Washington and is on first Saturday of the month (I think). Medium sized nothing to special or specialised, but gets a resonable amount of people for where it is. Festival of the Sea & Tall Ships. This is coming up and I know there is a ton of craft fairs on there. Rebelo have been invited to display work at £300 for 3 days, which is quite expensive but I'm assured they'll have a large crowd. Prehaps that be worth a look to you. There's also a farmers market on in Newcastle city centre once a month. They've started to allow non-farm trade to have stalls due to lack of interest. Buts is right in the city centre and worth a bet no matter what the cost (2 cents) I went down to the Tourist Info in Newcastle city centre, they gave me loadsa info about fairs and festivals. Ring them I'm sure they can help you out. Tel:0191 277 8000 email: tourist.info@newcastle.gov.uk hope this helps

Hello,
Tynemouth Metro Station has one every sunday. The stalls are inexpensive and it draws large crowds. Further information should be accessible through the website Richard
