I did a small one whihc was hard work but good fun and tried a bigger one but the risj was too high as I needed to secure £60K of advertising.

it can be hard work but its always been fun!
photo shoots are good for a laugh.
we were luck and had funding so we didnt need to sell advertising space but i hear it can be very hard work trying to get people to sign up.

what kind of mag are you looking at doing?
have you worked out a budget?
have you got prices for design and printing?

I plan to do a Lifestyle Magazine
I have worked out a Budget/Start up of £20000
I have had several quotes ranging from £7000-£15000 for printing
I have also done a questionaire and put it to potential clients and Ihave had some positive and negative feed back along with some interested parties willing to advertise.
My next move is to hit the big boys, hey if you dont ask you dont get

I understand that its going to be hard work but I believe as you have stated it will be fun
