Hi Rachael,
Personally, I don't really like the name - sounds like something to do with fishing. However, you could probably call it anything you want, and as long as you've got a good product and develop the brand it will still be successful. I mean, what does Tesco and Asda mean? I associate those names with supermarkets, but they created this association through hard work, lots of investment and good marketing. Hope you get the point I am trying to make. All the best, Shane |

hey shane i do get your point however you are now making me wonder what tesco and asda really do mean.
ive done a quick little search and blue fins are mainly graphic design companies! However the one that inspired me was a bar in New York which i become so attached to!! |

There are two resons given behind the name for Tesco.
Jack Cohen I think his name was was the founder and one suggestion is that Tessa Cohen or soemthing was a relative and hence Tes-Co. The other reson given was very similar and definitely the Co was from Cohen. As for Asda, there just asda be a answer somewhere!!! As for your name, how about Ficken Finn? Say it out loud and you will see. |
