Forum software
Hi, I'm thinking of adding a forum/discussion board to my site and wondered if any of you had any software recommendations.
Something easy to use and not expensive (free??) as I've no idea at this stage if what I'm thinking of will work, it's just really an idea at the moment. Can anyone help?? Sarah

phpBB powered too :-) Recently, the company that was providing my webspace moved its servers to the south of France and they lost all the websites... but not the database...so I was able to set up my forum again in 3 minutes !!
PhpBB's great ! |

if you have £88 to spare get vbulletin it kicks everythings ass lol.
this forum is ran by vbulletin. $160 (£88 ish) gives you a license to run vbulletin for life and a free year to upgrades. $85 (£48 ish) gives you a year of vbulletin and a year of access to download upgrades. you can also get access to website to provide hacks to modify you're board at www.vbulletin.org its worth it really. |
