I'm in a dilemma...

do i do something because i'm good at it and i think it'll make me a few £ or do i do something that my heart is 110% in and i love waking up and getting to work?

I've set up inspired events but my heart isnt fully in it. for those of you who are old hands in the forum amy remember all the work i put into 'me recruitment' and i've got all the stuff sat in front of me, i've now got the resources and the time to go back into it but i dont want to look like a complete mind changer and give up on inspired events in what for some may look like an over night change of heart.

Or more seriously get someone to run Inspired while you work on Me Recruitment.

It's worth spreading your interests in case one of your projects takes a dip (eggs all on one basket etc).

It's shouldn't be an either/or it should a 'both' situation.

I agree - why can't you do both? Get some help (and if you need some, you know where I am!) and go for it!

I have recently put "another string to my bow" - its not what I normally do but its guaranteed income each month - a client of mine needed some assistance with one of his projects and because I have taken it on board, he is getting out there and getting more business which in the long run will get me more work!

Have a think about what you need to do to make both happen, you don't have to give up one for the other.

I run a music website (www.musosguide.com), co-run Yetmore, do the odd bit of freelance writing, work for a charity and have a few more projects in the pipeline. I honestly don't think I could choose if I had to drop one, it is tough but you can do it if you plan and innovate, good luck Rach! Yeah do both Rachel.
I am partners in a property development company and have also launched a clothing label. Means I have very little 'own time' but I am fulfilling my asperations in business, oh and making a bucket load at the same time!!!
