UIAUK - Help and advice on Inventing

A national organisation that truly represents the inventor community is long overdue. When it comes to innovation, big companies and universities can't do it all. There is huge untapped potential in inventive individuals, many of whom are tomorrow's entrepreneurs and employers - so let's start valuing and encouraging inventors.

The UIAUK will develop ethical resources to help members protect and commercialise proven ideas. And it will endeavour to protect them from anyone who exploits inexperienced inventors by providing misleading or inappropriate services.

It will support the excellent work of regional inventors' clubs; and through involvement in enterprise education in schools, it will invest in the future of UK invention and innovation.

Individuals and service providers are joining the UIAUK daily, proving the demand for a national voice for inventors.

The UIAUK looks and sounds like a great scheme to me, so if you've invented something I recommend you take a look at their new website and take out the free membership.
