Wow - I am member of the month!

Hi all.

Today I had a great surprise and I just wanted to share my happiness with everybody.

Just scroll down the page till the bottom and you will see - I am 'Member of the month'.

Let me take this opportunity to reiterate how helpful this community has been for me - I am very happy it seems I am giving something back.

Also quick tip - keep an eye on the backlinks you get from this site because of your reward - I assume you are using Analytics on your site so take a look there and also use this: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com...i&bwmo=&bwmf=s

Mine rose from 2,500 to over 50,000 - then dropped back down when I got took off member of the month

There was an error here on your part either a mis type or a mis read - It wasnt 5,000 - It was in fact 50,000 - No joke it took it to around 53,000 because every page on this form counts as a backlink - The figures where astonishing - I started a post on it somewhere where I tracked the progress each day - If someone wants to search my posts for it

Above is the original thread - I am disapointed because I stopped posting about it at just over 10,000 backlinks which was reached from just over 2,000 backlinks in less than 6 days - By the time the end of my month as "member of the month" came I was hitting around 53/54,000 backlinks and I literally had no links in my signature just a link on my profile page!!!

The shell - livewire forum can make a very big impact on your website if your smart with it, many people think slapping a signature on here will make there site rank highly but it doesnt. I am going to show this soon and release a guide on it.

Anyway, I don't think that will happen in my case because the 'More' link by my description on the footer of the page doesn't point to my website directly but to my Community profile.

I've changed the more> link so it now points directly to your www.plancake.com website.

We'd still like you to keep your Social Network profile up to date as that can still be good for raising awareness amongst the Shell LiveWIRE membership and give your SEO a little boost, but appreciate that a direct link to your site is much more beneficial to you.
