The following 8 young entrepreneurs have been shortlisted for our latest monthly £1,000 Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Awards given out at the end of June:

Online voting is now open until Midnight on 30th June 2010. After this time, the online votes will be ranked and then added to the scores given by a panel of independent judges for each original application entry.
The 5 people with the highest total scores will each win £1,000 for their business.

I'm so grateful to see Sonodrome shortlisted for the Grand Ideas award this month - I just want to say a big thank you to Shell LiveWire and anyone who can lend a hand with their vote!

We're designing our new Open Source biotechnology so that it will make a big difference in people's lives - it's important for Jim and I to play a positive role in being part of the solution, and not part of the problem - so any support we can raise from anywhere is not only greatly appreciated, but will also go towards helping a lot of people get access to the technology that can improve their lives.
