If anyone would like to show their support for Shell LiveWIRE on their website and encourage others to join the community, you can now grab one of our official logos (and the code to embed it on your site) from the following page;

www.shell-livewire.org/logos

Let me know what you think and if you use them please send me the link to your page so I can see how good it looks on your site

The project that my website is for is aimed at young people looking to get into business, so hopefully it should drive a quite a few young people to this site.

Thanks very much

Thanks very much Nick, go4it, Damion and Dave, as the famous supermarket ad says "every little bit helps".

Just given Livewire one of the ad spots on my blog, thanks for the logo's.

Just an idea, I think you should provide a png with the logo on a transparent background so people can easily add it to their sites without having to edit the background to fit their design.

Cheers

Oli

Transparent background?

Cheers to everyone who has already added the LiveWIRE logo to their site and linked back to us - we really appreciate all your help in promoting the programme.

However, I'm afraid we can't provide you with the logo on a transparent background as the Shell LiveWIRE logo must always appear on a white background - branding guidelines and all that.

Official Shell LiveWIRE logo

You're right Tom, they can - but we want people to keep the logo as it is i.e. red and white text on a white background which is all part of the Shell LiveWIRE identity. We don't really want people to modify it (other than resizing it) or it will look shabby.

So, if you want to place the Shell LiveWIRE logo on your site, please use the official logo located at
www.shell-livewire.org/logos which looks like this;

And can be embedded straight into your page by using the code below:

Quote:
<a target="_blank" href="http://www.shell-livewire.org"><img title="Shell LiveWIRE (www.shell-livewire.org)" border="0" alt="Shell LiveWIRE (www.shell-livewire.org)" width="194" height="129" src="http://www.shell-livewire.org/store/1254750592.761LID0.jpg" /></a>
