Hey!

After you have gone through all your market research and decided that it's a viable idea you'll need to start thinking about a business plan. That plan will help to pull all your ideas together and also will help you look at different legal status's for your business, pulls together money issues, help to set targets and aims for your business, as well as being a good piece of kit for when you come to business bank accounts (should you need loans etc) or to attract business investors.

There are lots of places that you can go onto and get free help with writing your business plan;

Business Link Website

Business Balls Website (Business Plan Section)

BBC Website (Business Plan Section)

My Own Business Website (Plan Section)

The Shell Live Wire Business Kit is also a good place to have a look at!

Good luck!

thanks for all your help will probably need more though soon haha

as Dave says, your My Business Kit page at www.shell-livewire.org/my-business-kit contains the following free guides:

* Cash Flow Forecast Template
* Market Research for the First Time
* Organising your Business and Keeping it Legal
* Writing Your First Business Plan

And there are lots of other resources and links in the Business Library too (www.shell-livewire.org/business-library)

Firstly, decide how much to invest in the business. Sometimes more money is needed to run the business. In such a case, loans from local banks have to be taken. Advertising and proper marketing is also essential to sell the products.

Re: Advice needed on setting up business

Are you confident that the market will embrace your product en-masse? Why not test it (with minimal risk) on eBay first?
