Anyone got an offline business??

Hi i was just wondering if anyone on this website owns and runs an offline business?
I have read through a thousand and one threads about online business's but not one about an offline venture.

a large portion of my trade is offline.

I advertise in the paper and trade-it, and sometimes I sell directly to businesses, either over the telephone or F2F.

i would like to know more about business to business sales, i am thinking about becoming a wholesaler. thanks, jay

Hi Jay,

My business is mainly 'bricks & mortar' and has a strong retail aspect to it.

As asked above, what items do you want to become a wholesaler for? What brands would you be hoping to offer?

Do you have much in the way of business experience at the moment? Do you understand the relationship you will need to maintain with your suppliers and also with your customers?

Have you got sufficient funds available to get you started and have you thought about how to keep your cashflow healthy when you are fully up and running?
