Schools, libraries, play centres, leisure centres...
Am sure if you contact them they won't say no to an A4 poster on the public notice board... |

8-18?
I don't think I would want my 9 year old talking to strangers at that age.

Dubit tried to do this a while ago (may still do it). Normally for some sort of new game, they recruit kids to post messages on boards telling people how wonderful the game is, and in return the kids get a free game.
This is just plain wrong! Getting kids to do PR and marketing is wrong. Say these kids generate thousands of pounds worth of business, and all they get in return is a £20 computer game! But you cannot use Bebo / Facebook / MySpace and expect Parents to be happy. You are asking kids to act as spammers and many of these sites have strict rules agsinst spam. There is a concept in the US for pop bands, where a street team will promote a band. But this is usually tied into a fan club, and the young people involved are true fans, and I believe they get concert tickets etc, all with parents consent. It is basically cheap marketing, how can we charge a company lots of money and spend very little money, but get good results. Sorry rant over...
