O/T Exam results copies

Sorry to post another off topic.


My Gf is going back to College to do an ILEX course, but due to moving homes etc cannot find her original G.C.S.E results anywhere.


Does anyone know if it's possible to get copies of your old exam results?

Provided you can prove who you are and they are named to you etc.

She went to out of school education ( for naughty kids), her College course starts on sept 3rd, and we had just assumed she had them.

I don't think she can get hold of anyone from OSE before then.

Having googled it doesnt't look like there's much hope without going through a long drawn out process.

Maybe if she calls the college or something?

When I applied for college (also down in the west country), they didn't need the paper with the results on them, they were just happy with being told what the results were.

Best thing to do is call the college and speak to someone. Even though courses aren't running at the min, someone will still be there (more than likely) sorting bits out for the new students starting september.

If that college needs the certificates then you should really call the exam board(s) up and ask for copies. I am aware if it has been a while since say you didn't collect them they go back to the exam boards.

I know the exam boards charge for this, the price I'm unsure of though sorry.

Hi eco,
You can get them from the school. Not the certificates but they will print off a copy of your results. This serves as evidence of your results. When I did it they literally printed it off in front of me. Call the school asap

Incidently my whole Record of Achievement File was in my car when it got torched a few years ago. I had the same issues. And I'm not talking about that poxy red file you get from school. This was a professional record of my work and achievments!

I had to get my results on letter headed paper for my University course as I didnt get my GCSE certificates..come on letter headed paper. I know GCSE's aren't worth much to some people but anyone with a computer and 5 minutes can just forge years of education...pah.

She's still really upset, but I've contacted the College and will find out a bit more on Tuesday.

Ironically where her School was is now part of a building site (Polkyth rec center), tried them all day, no answer.

Will try it again on Tues.
