What do you think DEGRAFIK services are?

I have had a chat with quite a few people in the last few weeks asking and not knowing exactly what I do and offer.

It would be good to hear from you guys on your response?

I have seen the van driving around Braford which I guess covers the advertising and I would have said that you did design?

I used to work for a design and web agency and we carried out a survey with all current clients to see what services they thought we offered and what they wanted us to offer. Most had no idea we did branding work, several thought we did PR (which we didn't). It was a great basis on which to do future marketing work for the company to clarify what we did.

I think one of the issues is that the words design, marketing and advertising can cover so many things.

It is the very reason when I introduce myself to people and they ask what I do, I say, 'I'm a copywriter which means I write brochures, websites and all those annoying bits of junk mail you receive'. I do change what I tell people depending on the audience and what I think they will be interested in but essentially it is about making a service tangible.
