I compiled a survey on www.freeonlinesurvey.com which was pretty good (and fun, seeing the statistics and graphs!), but probably would have been better if I'd sent it to more people. The only prob was that after a certain amount of days (ten I think) you could no longer access it without paying. So I only got around 22 responses I could look at. Still, I think it's worth doing if you send it to people in your target market and really make sure you get as many people as possible to do it. This may be totally useless I've just realised, but I've written it so I'll send it!

Well I emailed the link to everyone I know who fitted into my target market.....
Sorry I don't think I'm being very helpful actually. Think I screwed my head on back to front this morning.

hi febes if you aim the survey at the right people and get the right people of the market you aiming at any sort of survey can be productive , and i would highly recommend it , as research is very important.

best of luck
dave

I've found friends and family to be somewhat unreliable when it comes to wanting honest advice.

Its not their fault - as family / friends (normally) will try not hurt your feelings.

My advice is to use strangers where possible.
