I just wanted to know really if anyone within the startup community is already using freelance sales people and what sort of results you are getting from them

I know a lot of people in one industry have started to use this method and its working well for them. They advertise them as jobs in the industry trade magazine on a regular basis.

I've had a good reponse from adverts I placed on gumtree - we sell a web based solutions into schools to help them with their university applicaiton so there i splenty of margin to give the freelance sales people an incentive to sell our prodcut - the good thing about gumtree is its free to sell on.
