the term 'FREE'

Hi

I'm currently developing a Website which allows property postings for free. Is it okay to use the term free or does it sound cheap? Sites like facebook, etc don't use this term, should I?

thanks

gumtree make the free bit clear (post a free add button) - i'd prefer the free stated though the word free often doesn't seem to mean free which is annoying.

Hi

As a marketeer, I'd use the word 'complimentary' - sounds a bit more classy!

complimentary makes me think that something is given in addition to something i have paid for - i get a complimentary towel at the gym but i have paid a gym membership, complimentary drink at a club i have paid entrance too etc. If something is free i want to know its free.

Free is a great word, it doesn't sound cheap.
