Photography software help

Hi All

I am looking for a a piece of software that would allow me to create an electronic photo album with room for comments on individual pictures that can then be sent via email.

Essentially i need a way of sending a collection of photos (up to 30) as a single attachment (as opposed to simply sending 30 pics as email attachments).

Does anyone know if this type of software exists (preferably freeware)?
