Business banking when self-employed
I'm having a think about business banking. I will be working from home on a self-employed basis.
A couple of wholesalers which I will want to use need to see bank statements/credit cards in the trading name of my business, so I will need to set up a business bank account. I know absolutely nothing about this sort of thing and have been having a look at business banking offers from the high street banks and there seem to be quite hefty fees for paying in/paying out etc. So, do I need an actual 'business' bank account, or can I just get a personal current account in my company name? |

Get a business account. So much easier to keep personal and business finances separate.
The vast majority of banks do some kind of free banking, Abbey do it for life if you keep below their limits...
