Know of any other forums??

Hi,

I love this forum and enjoy posting threads here and helping people with problems.

Does anyone here know of any other start up forums which offer advice, idea think tanks etc.... other than startups.co.uk and acadamy???

i've come across startups before but not academy. what's the url for the academy website?

you can sometimes find some good info by having a look at communities in google, yahoo and others like that. they always have business communities and some of the points raised can be pretty useful. they're not as lively as this forum though and answers can take quite a long time to be answered at times.

There's also www.ukbusinessforums.com which can be really helpful, although isn't anywhere near as lively as here.

And the URL for Ecademy is www.ecademy.com

email groups

Email groups are also sometimes useful and lively, I only know some that are for women only that are fairly lively.

But I'm sure if you do a search you will find some for men/anyone also.

Ecademy is so active though that you could spend all day every day on it if you wanted.

Regards

Amanda

We are just opening a forum for high growth potential ventures, primarily in science and technology.

It is not likely to be as active as this one - or have the same great social interaction that you enjoy here. That is not its purpose.

The Innovateur forum is focused on those projects that are seeking Private Equity and Venture Capital. Questions will tend to be fewer and in a slightly different context to many here.

If any of you guys develop projects with those characteristics, you are welcome to use it. It is free and part of a voluntary project by experienced technology entrepreneurs. It aims to support forums such as this one with specialist expertise.

Equally, individuals with experience in such areas, or specific expertise, are also welcome to provide impartial and objective advice.
