Just wondering about registering my company name as a proposed one. Do I have to know whether I am sole, Ltd etc before I can do this? and how long can it be proposed for?

How long? A couple of hours if you pay more but a couple of days with the standard price.

But it is more than registering your company name.

Hee - didn’t realise was all that scary! Not really the intention.

I do however think you need to look again at this. If you are a sole trader than you certainly shouldn’t be forming a limited company with companies house as this would mean you are having a limited company........lots of people get confused with this.
