Do I need to copyright deigns before sending it to manufacturers?

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I have designed a collection of swimwear and tracksuites and wanting to send my designs to Turkey to have it mass produced. Do I need to copyright my deigns before sending it to turkey and do I need to draw up a contract beween myself and (Turkey) manufacturers so that they do not decided to use my designs and sell it. Please advise me as I a not sure how to approach this and have my designs protected against other manufacturers deciding to use it.
