does anyone know any good Blog software or how to set up a blog onto my website
or what the difference if any between a blog and a forum.

i am thinking of putting a blog on my site but not sure how to go about it.

anyhelp would be great

A forum is for topics that involve conversations, and each topic can be created by a different person.
A blog is for comments that can have feedback added, and can only be created by one person (anyone can reply though)

There are a few similarities.

If done correctly, blogging can be good for marketing a business. As people link to other peoples blogs.

thanks. i think a forum might be best for my new site. as i want everyone to be able to create entries and anyone can reply to them
