Market analysis reports

Where can I find market analysis reports / details about a market sector etc from a low cost or free source?

I have searched a lot over the past few months, but have only found places selling the data for around £5000 which is not an option!

We seem to be having more difficulty because we are looking for any specific figures regarding "alternative" shops/online shops. (selling rock music clothing and merchandise, jewellery, cosmetics and New Age items).

Please help!
