plastic cards with magentic strip

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a plastic cards printing company who can print magnetic strips on the back of them.
We're planning to use them as gift cards and use the magnetic strip to store some basic info. The cheapest price we have at the moment is 40p each - can anyone beat this?

When you say gift card, may I ask if a cash value will be stored on the card, or in a database somewhere?

If the value is kept on the card, it is likely to be amended by people who have the willingness and know how to do that kind of thing.

Hi sunee,
The cash value will be stored in a db. The only info stored on the card will be the guid value which will relate to the guid value in the db.
Storing the cash value on the card and not in the db would cause fraud issues as you mentioned (MR writers are only £100) and also the card could not be used to pay for goods on an e-commerce site using the guid - which i forgot to mention would need to be printed also on the card.

Also storing the value in the db means we can "top-up" cards which would allow parents to give their kids these cards with for example a £5 monthly spend.

we used www.companycards.co.uk for our business cards, as they were only up the road from me, they also do plastic cards.
