trying to scale down flyers :-(

Hi,

I have designed a basic flyer and it's in A4, however I am trying to get it to A6 and 4 on one page, I have fiddled around with setting and layouts, but still no joy, any pointers?

depends really on what software you're using.

You should be able to group everything and scale it down to 25% for A6.

If that doesn't work, butcher's method would be

1. create PDF
2. open in photoshop
3. Image Size - 25%
4. Save as PDF or TIFF
5. Lay up 4 fliers in your layout package

But then you won't be able to edit it and all your text will be rasterised so not quite as crisp if you're getting it commercially printed.

remember to keep a back up save of the A4 version -scaling down will be easier than scaling up.....

Software? I was just using it from a word template.

I am useless at these things and don't have any knowledge whatsoever, hmm, sounds a little tricky to me, I will try another way around it :-)
