Blogging Tips!

After months of reading various blogs on a daily basis, its time to start my own!!

So what is your best tip for blogging? Hopefully this will be useful for a lot more of you as well

I'd be really interested in hearing some tips as i've got some good ideas I want to transfer over to a blog and i've no idea where to start!!

I'd say these tips...

1) Keep it fun.

2) Write about a subject your knowledgeable about - or if not make people know your learning while telling. (Most computer blogs are like this)

3) Remember to update regularly, if you update once a week make it on a certain day - so that people know or will work out when to check back.

4) Remember to use RSS feeds, these are great.

5) Don't post about personal things, like I went shopping today lol....

6) Use nice formatting so it's easy to read - same with font.

7) Keep it original

Wordpress is great for blogging, you can download and use it for free.

Wordpress is great. Make sure you submit to as many directories as possible. Britblog.co.uk is a good place to start. Make sure you claim your blog at Technorati.com.

Make your blog easier to read. Its not hard because there are a lot of good templates available.

There are hundreds of good tips available at www.problogger.net.

Lastly for anyone blogging I recommend using performancing.com to track your blog and also using the software they have to add posts to your blog. Its makes blogging so much more easier.
