Twitter Teens

Teens are migrating to Twitter to escape the older generation that has started “friending” them on Facebook. It was predicted that teens would never take to Twitter, but a survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project has found that 16 per cent of 12 to 17 year olds said they use Twitter. As well as feeling older users have encroached on their traditional online hang outs, teens migrating to twitter give ease of use, not having to use their real name and being able to send a message to a circle of friends as reasons for making the move.
