What phone was it Dave, I had an old 8800, and got rid of that, but it was down to a known bug, i now have a curve which has the problem rectified. No problems to date (touch wood)

Used to have a BB and the BB messenger was great, for talking to friends. But would deem it a little pointless when handing it out publicly in favour of meeting new people and for gaining contacts. That's what MSN/Skype etc.. is for. With that you talk when you're available, not at 4am when you get woken up by a new BB message! I see it as blindly handing out your mobile number to meet new people by text, it just doesn't happen.
