Top Tips for Teen Entrepreneurs: from the Teenweb Conference 2012 @ Google Campus

One of the highlights of the Teenweb Conference for me was hearing Adam Greenough and Ed Crampin of Portsmouth-based design firm Amazorize sharing their 'Top Tips' (some of the best I've ever seen/heard).

There's a brief summary of these on The Next Web at: http://thenextweb.com/uk/2012/07/16/...entrepreneurs/ but the full list of tips they shared were:
  • Your idea is probably not unique. Stop treating it like a top secret mission!
  • Don't go it alone
  • You don't know until you try...what have you got to lose?
  • Be professional...and age should never be a problem
  • Write everything down...and sleep with a notebook
  • Don't undersell yourself...because you're worth it
  • Network, network, network
  • Haters gonna' hate
  • Never stop learning...you can always be better
  • Do what you love...and everything else will fall into place
  • Be imaginative and make a difference
  • Do something amazing

Copied, pasted and printed. Sound advice, especially the age one as that sometimes gets to me.
Thank you.

For 2 guys so young, Adam and Ed really had their heads screwed on and I predict a very bright future for them and Amazorize.

To find out what else happened at the Teenweb Conference, check out my summary over at:

I'm flattered, thanks for the feature Paul! Your talk was pretty interesting too, LiveWIRE looks really useful! Thought I'd better sign-up and join the fun.
