Delivery problem

hi there,
does anyone know any good courier companies with reasonable rates. I called some in London and they were charging about £20 for next day delivery.
If that's the average rate that couriers charge, how do you deliver items at a good rate?
Pls help as I've got some customers' goods to deliver.

What weight did the £20 cover up to?? KG??

We use a company called Fastway. £4.95 for next day delivery within certain post code areas (about 500 post codes). £7.95 for next day anywhere else. I think they are also £3.95 for next day within the same town.

Next day delivery rates also depend on the volume you are sending out.

What volumes are you looking at roughly per week?
