I've been getting up to 10 a day this week, all with a geocities link but with different names used each time?

It's just plain spam....

I think they have managed to create an application to automatically make websites on Geocities.

If you have one URL which happens to be sent to 1,000,000 addresses it's pretty easy to notice as spam... But thousands of different addresses being used decreases the chance of something blocking it.

Don't talk to me about them Sarah, I get them day and night and it drives me mad. I tell ya, if I ever meet the people who keep sending them I'll poke my snooker cue in their eye, ram the chalk up their nose and make them eat the cue ball. If I'm still not satisfied I'll try shoving their head into one of the pockets of the snooker table.
