event/wedding co-ordination

I am in the early planning stages of setting up an event styling/co-ordination business. Has anyone any tips for getting into the biz?
I would like to focus mainly on weddings and parties before branching into other events. Im doing my research and am really excited.

Its a very competitive market these day and I know some event organisers have moved out of weddings and they are not as profitable as arranging large corporate parties for example! I think pricing is key and it would be worth while doing good market research on your local competitors.

You just have to make sure you are better than them! :-)
