Does anyone know anywhere I could find standard prices illustration designers charge? You would imagine you could find other businesses with their prices listed on a webpage but this doesn't seem to be the case.

You could do a mystery shop, i.e pose as a potential customer and ask for quotes. It is useful to determine the going rate but it is just as important to establish what you need/want to charge in order to make your business a success, prices can vary dramatically depending on how well people brand themselves and how well they can differentiate what the clients get by paying more.
